Peter "Doublelift" Peng is a professional League of Legends player. He is the AD Carry for Counter Logic Gaming.

Biography

Doublelift first found out about his love for games through the classic Nintendo 64 titles Star Fox and Golden Eye. When his brother finally got a computer, Doublelift frequently used it to play Diablo 1 and Starcraft. Since Doublelift’s brother would buy a new computer every few years, he soon came to own his own hand-me-down desktop. This let him spend more time playing computer games such as DoTA, WoW, and HoN with his brother and friends. Eventually they all left these games behind and moved to LoL. Through his experience playing League of Legends, Doublelift believes that his strongest skill is mechanics such as last-hitting, timing, and positioning. He joined Counter Logic Gaming in hopes of pursuing his dream to become a professional gamer and feels that CLG is one of the best teams in the competitive scene.^[1]

Known for his Blitzcrank, Doublelift gained the attention of HotshotGG and duo queued together early 2011. He was asked to join Counter Logic Gaming as a sub which he accepted but moved to Epik Gamer for a starting role as a Support. He then moved on to unRestricted, now known as Team Curse, to become their starting AD carry. He competed for Curse at LAN events such as 2011 MLG Pro Circuit - Raleigh, IGN Proleague Season 3 - Atlantic City, and IEM Season VI - Global Challenge New York.

In November 2011, Doublelift joined CLG as their AD Carry after leaving Curse. ^[2]

Primarily known for his Vayne and Caitlyn play.
Known for his strong mechanics as an AD carry.
Had a habit for facechecking brushes, notably at the Season 1 World Finals.
The name "Doublelift" came from Peter's interest in magic tricks; the doublelift being the name of a basic sleight of hand card trick.
Used to be roommates with Tnomad of State of the League.
Is humorously quoted within the LoL community for joking "Money in the bank, pimpin' ain't easy" and "I'm the greatest. Everyone else is just trash."
Got kicked out of his home by his family for wanting to become a professional LoL player.
Scored two penta kills during IPL 5, one playing Ezreal against Curse EU in Game 3 of the Winner's Bracket Quarterfinals, and another playing Caitlyn against Fnatic in Game 1 of the Winner's Bracket Semi-finals.
