OGN Champions Spring- Grandfinals Matchup: CJ Entus Blaze vs. MVP Ozone
While the LCS Summer split for NA and EU is just starting, the Korean OGN Champions Spring is reaching its climax with the culmination of the playoffs. Blaze and Ozone will meet in the Grandfinals on Saturday, June 15. Both teams rolled through the playoffs despite facing off against some of the best teams in Korea. Blaze knocked out both SKT1 and sister team Frost, taking both series 3-0. Ozone eliminated two of the favorites to win the tournament: KT Rolster B and SKT T1 2. Ozone entered both matches as the underdogs but came away with 3-1 victories in each series. Both teams play at an extremely high level and have built up considerable momentum coming into the Grandfinals. The last time these two teams met was mid-season, and Blaze took the series decisively: 2-0. Ozone will be looking for revenge heading into Saturday while Blaze will do their best to go undefeated throughout the entire playoffs. This article will break down each team position-by-position and then give a prediction for which team will walk away victorious.

| The Leaguepedia Review - Vol. 1
Today marks a momentous occasion for the League of Legends competitive scene: the beginning of the Summer Split of the LCS. It feels like only yesterday that I read through my notes during the weekly (now monthly) staff meetings and began working through my ‘to-do’s as we prepared for the first match between CLG and TSM that marked the beginning of the LCS. Four months later, here I am.
Since that inaugural LCS match, Leaguepedia has increased it's page views by 150%, Twitter Followers by ~15,000, and from one division with ten or so volunteer staff members to twelve divisions with close to a hundred "Leaguepedians" (still working on the name). But above everything else, the greatest increase is community contributions to the wiki. There have been more edits today with the start of the Summer Split than in an entire week from four months ago.
As I reflect on the past four months, I remember back to a staff meeting that occurred halfway through the Spring Split. Someone brought up whether some of our coverage was worth the effort. The LCS Radio on average received between 10 and 30 listeners, and at the time the @LeaguepediaLive Twitter was sitting at around 1,000 followers. Our journalism team was growing by the day and we had just picked up a live video content team to cover the LCS in person. Since there weren’t end game recap scoreboards on LoLeSports.com we had to input all the scoreboard data manually by taking screenshots right before the Nexus exploded. Needless to say, the amount of work each week was daunting.
Someone asked whether we should disband our Play-by-Play and Radio departments, asking whether the effort was worth it. We made the commitment to our teams to continue supporting their work, and as you can see, their audience grows every week!
I have been an entrepreneur since I sold my first web hosting company when I was 15. The two most important things that I've learned over the years are to never be content with ‘good enough’ and to never be afraid to fail.
I didn't start Leaguepedia to simply be a ‘good’ website. I started Leaguepedia with the intent to be the best website and organization in League of Legends, and to accomplish that while putting the community first in everything we do.
