[edit] Biography

Chaox was originally born in Chengdu, China and lived in Nanjing, China until the age of seven, when his family moved to Montreal, Canada. At the age of 13, his family moved again to Long Island, New York. While playing for TSM, Chaox lived in the TSM Gaming House, first in New York and later in California. After his departure from Team SoloMid, Chaox moved back to his home in New York.

[edit] League of Legends Career

[edit] TSM Era

Chaox started his League of Legends career as Team SoloMid's support player. After Locodoco's departure from SoloMid, Chaox became the starting AD carry. He first played League of Legends during the beta, but disliked it at first and felt it was sub-par to Dota. After the announcement of the Season 1 prizepool, he stuck with the game. Chaox first started gaming at the age of 3 on the SNES, and later on became a semi-competitive player in Dota, World of Warcraft, and Heroes of Newerth before becoming a professional League of Legends player. He was recruited to Team SoloMid after playing with and against Reginald in solo queue; Reginald invited him to join.

On March 25th, 2013, Chaox was released from Team SoloMid, which Xpecial claimed arose from differences between Chaox and TSM's midlaner Reginald and his position was replaced by WildTurtle.[1][2]

[edit] Post-TSM Era

After the departure from Team SoloMid, Chaox planned to go to China to learn more about e-Sports on April 14, 2013 and this trip would last for two month, which is a month in China and another month in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Korea. [3] The trip to China was delayed because his mother burned his visa.[4] On April 23, Chaox finally arrived Shanghai, China.[5] Then, he stayed with Vici Gaming and visited their gaming house[6][7] as well as the "League of Legends" themed internet cafe three days later.[8] On April 27, Chaox appeared on Tencent LoL Pro League 2013 as a guest.[9] On April 28, 2013, Chaox finished his trip with Vici Gaming. Then he stayed with Invictus Gaming, who also have a gaming house in Shanghai, China.[10][11] On May 13, 2013, Chaox finished his trip with Invictus Gaming and began staying with Royal Club, who also have a gaming house in Shanghai, China.[12] On May 14, 2013, Chaox left China and go to Hong Kong. On the next day, he joined a fans meeting in i-One internet cafe which held by Hong Kong Esports Limited. During the meeting, he shared his experience of e-Sports to fans and HK Attitude and answered the questions from the fans.[13] On May 18, 2013, Chaox will leave Hong Kong. [14]

Chaox will eventually go to South Korea, Singapore, as well as Taiwan after his trip to China. He will stay with MonteCristo and Chobra.
