Copenhagen Wolves are a Danish based electronic sports club, they currently sponsor a League of Legends, StarCraft II, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and a SMITE team.
[edit] History
[edit] Pre-Season 3
Copenhagen Wolves was a team created by former members of Team Winfakt, TCM Gaming, and Team Fragzone. They would make their first major appearance at Dreamhack Winter 2012. Three teams in the same group would get a 1-2 record, so a tiebreaker round robin was played. After all three teams having 1-1, a time based tiebreaker would lead them to advance to the playoffs, where they would lose to CLG EU 0-2. They take home 3-4 place and 30,000 kr. At the same time, they are able to go to the Spring LCS Qualifiers through Dreamhack.
[edit] Season 3
However, because Bjergsen was too young to play in the LCS, CowTard had to be the temporary sub for the team. Nevertheless, they would defeat Millenium 2-0, qualifying for the Season 3 Spring EU LCS. The Wolves would start off the season 0-9, but make a huge comback when Bjergsen joined again. Copenhagen Wolves would finish the Spring LCS 5th place, with a record of 13-15. In the playoffs, they would, however, fall 1-2 to Evil Geniuses, dropping down to the Summer EU LCS Promotion Tournament. There, they would be able to take down Samurai in Jeans 3-1, being the only Spring LCS team to qualify through the Promotion Tournament to the Summer LCS Season.
