[edit] Overview

StarsWar is a Chinese eSports league organized by XMA and are now working together with GIGABYTE to host the GIGABYTE StarsWar League. The tournament, which is sponsored by Intel, Corsair and GIGABYTE. An amateur version of the league will also be hosted for newer. There were 12 teams competing in the league and split into two groups of six. The playoffs will held in Shanghai, China on November 5th, 7th and 11th.

  • Group Stage - Best of Two
    • 1:1 Tie game both teams receive 1 point
    • 2:0 Won team receive 3 points
    • Top two teams within each group advances to playoffs
    • Tie-Break are best of one
      • Grab two wins advances to playoffs
      • Round one is Draft Pick
      • Round two is Blind Pick
  • Playoffs - Semifinals is Best of Five and Finals is Best of Seven
    • In all Best of Fives and Best of Seven, the final game is Blind Pick while other games are Draft Pick.
