[edit] Overview

x6tence is a Spanish eSports organization founded in 2004. They first stepped into League of Legends in October 2011 by picking up the former team Perceptive Play.

[edit] History

[edit] Formation of x6tence

x6tence began their journey into competitive League of legends when they recruited Perspective Play on October 13th of 2011, picking up team captain BarbeQ, Drag0n, nept1, Kaidoh, IamMorden, and substitute player Rydle.

[edit] Season 2

The Spain focused team would play well in local events, placing second at the Spanish ESL Pro Series Season VIII - Autumn cup and placing first in the Spanish ESL Pro Series Season VIII - Finals tournament.

After Meet Your Makers' major roster changes, x6tence would pick up Exterminare, Babeta, and heiN, while MeDroiD, nept1, and Rydle would depart. Not long after, Samux would join, replacing heiN.

One month after their roster changes, x6tence would place first at the EMS Season IX. x6tence would initially show a disappointing start, going third in the group stage. However, x6tence would pick up their momentum in the playoffs where they took out Team GAMED.DE 2-0 in the round of 16. Their success would carry over to the quarterfinals, where they were able to eliminate Cruel Ultimatum 2-0 to advance to the semifinals. In the semifinals of the event, x6tence would take out European powerhouse SK Gaming 2-1 to advance to the grand finals of the tournament. Up against heavy favorites Moscow Five, x6tence would come out victorious 2-0 to take home first place.

A day after their triumphant victory, BarbeQ would leave the team.

In the coming month of June, jimbownz would join the team to replace their previous AD Carry BarbeQ. With their new teammate, x6tence would qualify for the European Challenger Circuit: Poland tournament. However, due to a lack of funding, the organization was unable to send the players to the event. After announcing this news, SK Gaming's Ocelote offered to pay for x6tence's travel fees. In return the team decided to play under the Ocelote World name for the event. Unfortunately, the team would take last place in the group stage, falling to Counter Logic Gaming EU, EloHell.net, and Moscow Five.
